Hartville receives 250th flag

Wright County recently received a commemorative flag from U.S. Rep. Jason Smith’s office in honor of the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary. The flag was formally presented on Monday, March 23. During the presentation, Presiding Commissioner Zach Williams offered a prayer over the flag, the county and the nation. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and retired Wright County Deputy Dwayne Delcour had the honor of raising the flag. This flag was previously flown over the United States Capitol and Wright County considers it a great honor to now display it in front of the Wright County Courthouse.
