Lady Lions’ golfers bring home a few medals from Grove

The Mansfield Lady Lions’ golf team played on what is their home course for Mountain Grove’s home event on Sep. 11 at Randel Hinkle Golf Course.
As a team, the Lady Lions tied Ava for second place overall with a team score of 429.
Leading the way was Mylee Sullivan, who medaled in fifth place.
Addie Jones placed eighth and Kendall Sanders medaled in 15th place. Other golfers included Chloe Scofield and Savannah Clark.
Earlier in the week, the Lady Lions competed in West Plains. Sullivan led her team with a fourth place score of 88 to earn a medal.
On the tough course, Jones added a 107 to help her team. Sanders (125), Clark (132) and Schofield (132) also gained valuable experience on the tough course.
“All the girls played great and improved scores from last year,” said Mansfield head coach Mindy Lemons.
