Lady Lions start 2-1

The Mansfield Lady Lions’ volleyball team opened their season with a 2-1 record.
Their first win came on Sep. 2 when the Lady Lions held off Gloria Deo Academy, 3-1.
Mansfield dropped the first set, 25-20, before rallying to win the final three sets.
They won 26-24, 25-21 and 25-17.
The Lady Lions followed with a 3-0 win over the Laquey Hornets.
Mansfield won 25-16 and 25-13 before holding on in the third set, 25-23.
In the loss to Gainesville, they fell 3-1. They won the second set, 26-24. They lost the others, 25-18 twice and 25-11.
