Mansfield CC runners race at state

The Mansfield Lions’ two state-qualifying cross country runners ended their season this past Saturday, Nov. 8 after competing in the Class 1 State Championships held on Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia.
In a field featuring 175 total runners, both Lions’ runners finished in the back half.
Brent Stuart came in 102nd place with a time of 19:05.30.
Just 18 spots behind him was Benjamin Williams, who ran his race in 19:30.50.
The two runners earned a spot at state after qualifying in districts.
