Mansfield Lady Lions’ golf wins Summit Conference title

The Mansfield Lady Lions’ golf team after winning the Summit Conference title.

The Mansfield Lady Lions’ golf team won the Summit Conference championship after competing at Whispering Oaks Golf Course in Marshfield.
The Lady Lions took home the first place plaque as Mylee Sullivan, Addie Jones and Kendall Sanders each earned All-Conference honors.

Just after conference, the Lady Lions hosted a total of 19 schools in the Class 1, District 1 meet at Randel Hinkle Golf Course in Mountain Grove.
Mansfield just missed qualifying their full team to the Class 1 State Championships as they finished third place overall with a 491.
Sullivan punched her ticket to state as an individual after placing 18th with a 113.
Jones just missed qualifying as she was 20th place with a 115.
Sanders shot a 128, Chloe Scofield had a 135 and Savannah Clark shot a 179. Sullivan will now represent the Lady Lions at state Oct. 20-21 played on the Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton.
