Mansfield Lady Lions’ softball wins Summit Conference title

The Mansfield Lady Lions’ softball team is off to a blistering start to their spring 2026 season as they won the four-team Summit Conference Tournament championship after outscoring their two opponents, 27-11.
Against Gainesville, the Lady Lions’ offense had 14 hits in a 12-2 victory over the Lady Bulldogs in five innings.
Mylee Sullivan led the offense with three hits, three RBIs and two run scored; Kayley Kingery scored three times; Rylee Dixon had two RBIs; Addie Jones added one RBI and scored three times; both Jadalyn Coble and Cayley Yong had one RBI and scored twice; and Haleigh Jones had one RBI.
On the mound, Addie Jones tossed five innings and gave up two earned runs on three hits with three strikeouts and six walks.
In their first game against Conway, the Lady Lions had a six-run second inning and a seven-run third inning to pull away for a 15-9 victory over the Lady Bears.
Kingery hit a grand slam in that big second frame. She finished with four RBIs and one run scored.
Sullivan had three RBIs and one run scored; Madisyn Bennett had two RBIs and scored twice; Dixon had two RBIs; Coble had one RBI and scored twice; both Addie Jones and Emma Matney had one RBI and scored three times; Haleigh Jones scored twice; and Young scored one run.
Addie Jones tossed five innings and gave up nine earned runs on eight hits with six strikeouts and three walks.
Before the tournament, the Lady Lions crushed Galena, 15-0. This means they have outscored three teams this season by a 42-11 margin.
Haleigh Jones, Dixon and Coble each had two RBIs and scored one run; both Addie Jones and Sullivan scored three times; Patience Parsons had two RBIs; Matney had one RBI; and Giulia Leoni scored one run.
Addie Jones tossed four no-hit, shutout innings ans truck out 10 with one walk.
