Mansfield Lady Lions get win over Hurley

The Mansfield Lady Lions’ volleyball team found the win column again last week after they hosted Hurley and defeated them in three straight sets.
Their sixth win of the season was a hard-fought 25-22, 25-16 and 25-18 victory.
The Lady Lions did drop a tough 3-1 decision to the Plato Lady Eagles one day earlier.
They lost 25-13 and 25-20 before rallying for a 27-25 win in the third set.
The Plato Lady Eagles would win the fourth set, 25-15.
Against Bradleyville in a match last week, Mansfield won the first set, 28-26. Unfortunately, Bradleyville would rally to win the final three sets, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-6.

Mansfield is hosting their third annual tournament on Friday, Oct. 11 featuring eight area volleyball programs.
The other teams include Blue Eye, Seymour, Niangua, Fordland, Gainesville, Plato and Koshkonong.
