County’s CC teams compete in Grove

All four Wright County teams participated in the Mountain Grove Open event held last week at Randel Hinkle Golf Course.
Mountain Grove
As a team, the boys were third overall with 64 points as they had three runners in the Top-10. About 73 total runners competed in the race.
Max Guiiliams placed seventh (18:19), Trece White was eighth (18:31.37) and Skyler Oliphant was 10th (18:44.27) for the Panthers. Other runners include Masen Byerly (19:48.95), Mason Henry (21:24.11), Trigg DeVries (22:55.83) and Lincoln Zohner (26:48.42).
The Lady Panthers had two runners earn a spot in the Top-10 as there were 35 in the field.
Makynli Blackwell was fifth place overall with a time of 23:00.93. Nyelli Soto came in ninth place with her time of 23:48.05. Isabella Garner (30:48.07) also participated.
Hartville
The Eagles finished seventh in the team standings in the race with 184 points.
Broc Roden paced the squad with his 19th place time of 19:34.34. Other runners include Mason Rorrer (22:49.83), Gustin Dennis (25:07.82), Micah Clevenger (26:35.31), Landan Medlock (27:12.88) and Wyatt LaFavor (30:26.61).
The Lady Eagles’ lone runner was Claire Dickinson and she finished 20th overall with a time of 26:33.63.
Norwood
The Lady Pirates were paced by Kalie Chadwell, who finished third overall with a time of 22:48.49. Sadie Kelly (27:11.69) also ran for Norwood.
No boys runners competed in the 5,000 meters.
Mansfield
Four Mansfield Lions’ runners competed in the race. They were led by Michael Ivey’s 21st place time of 19:35.95. Other runners included Benjamin Williams (20:13.67), Tre’bor Woods (23:55.28) and Kayne Mowers (28:57.63).
The runners also competed in the Riann Lubinski Invitational in Nixa on Saturday.
Ivey was 28th place overall with a time of 18:47. Other times included Williams (19:23.32), Brent Stuart (19:25.43), Woods (22:03.01) and Oliver Henry (23:19.40).
