Panthers get second in Gainesville

The Mountain Grove Panthers’ golf team finished second in the team standings last week in the Gainesville Tournament. The event featured around 56 golfers and 12 total teams.
Brady Harris led the Panthers with an 80 for fourth place overall. Joining him in the Top-10 was Mason Henry in sixth (84) and Leedy Curtis in eighth (85). All three of those golfers medaled. Brady Anderson and Jack Tyrrell each shot an 87 to round out the squad.
In the West Plains Tournament, Harris had his team’s best score with an 89. Henry shot a 90, Curtis had a 92, Anderson a 94 and Tyrrell a 98.
As for the prestigious MSU Relays, Harris had the best score of a 78.
Henry was an 85, Anderson an 88, Curtis a 90 and Tyrrell shot a 98.
