Adam Hill hired as new principal at Mansfield R-IV
In the Feb. 10 Mansfield R-IV School District Board meeting, former Norwood Principal Adam Hill was officially hired to take over the position in the 2025-26 school year. Principal contracts were extended through the 2026-27 school year were approved for Zak Konyha and Joe Garrison.
Other moves approved in the closed session of the meeting include the hiring of Kelly Davis as a teacher and Melissa Fox as a custodian/cook. A special education contract was extended to Jena Coberly for the 2026-27 school year.
A retirement resignation was announced for bookkeeper Debbie Letsinger, effective June 30, 2025.
In other news from the regular portion of the meeting, the Board accepted the offer from John Carpenter in the amount of $68,000 for the Clark St. property. The other of two offers received was one from Shannon Watterson.
The Board also accepted a bid from Jamin Corder for a track runway and jumping pit in the amount of $10,700. It will be paid for with the funds from the Turner donation.
The next Mansfield R-IV School Board meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11.
