Dr. Albrecht joins CoxHealth Center in Mountain Grove

Dr. Albrecht joins CoxHealth Center Mountain Grove, bringing decades of rural health care experience
CoxHealth is pleased to welcome Dr. Tammy Albrecht, a family medicine physician, to CoxHealth Center Mountain Grove. She brings more than two decades of experience serving rural patients across the region.
An Ozark native, Dr. Albrecht’s passion for rural health care began early and guided her career path. She completed her residency at the Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program in Salina, Kansas, which is nationally recognized for training rural family medicine physicians. Following residency, she moved to the Cabool and Houston area, where she has cared for patients and families for more than 22 years.
“Health care isn’t just about treating disease,” Dr. Albrecht said. “It’s about understanding each person as a whole and working with them to support long-term health.”
Dr. Albrecht offers extensive experience in primary care, providing comprehensive care across all stages of life. Most recently, she served with the Veterans Administration for five years, continuing her commitment to patient-centered care for those who have served our country. She is dual board certified in family medicine and lifestyle medicine.
Now returning to primary care within the community, Dr. Albrecht is joining the CoxHealth team to expand access to high-quality care for patients in the region. She is committed to making health care approachable, timely, and comprehensive, ensuring patients have the support they need close to home.
Dr. Albrecht joins Jade Moore, family nurse practitioner, in providing care to patients in the community.
