Diamonds are a girl’s best friend – a sentiment that’s practically indisputable. In this economy, though, best friends (at least of the crystalline kind) are hard to come by.
That’s why 15-year-old Alisa Steere launched A’s Collection, a pop-up shop offering an array of high-end jewelry at affordable prices.
“I want to spread my love for jewelry throughout the community,” Steere said.
Steere debuted this unique vendor experience at Mountain Grove Mayfest. The pop-up shop is an imitation of an upscale jewelry store, featuring velvet-draped tables that display a myriad of pieces from the 1700s to the present.
According to Steere, each new piece is meticulously selected and undergoes an extensive process, including cleaning, organizing, and displaying. The items Steere sells are sourced primarily from local artisans and vendors, and the inventory is updated biweekly, so patrons can expect to find new treasures with each visit.
“I’m always on the hunt for extraordinary pieces to add to my repertoire,” Steere said.
A’s Collection is a bastion for affordable jewelry vendors. The jewelry is quality; it looks and feels expensive, but it’s sold at just a quarter of its retail value. This way, customers have the opportunity to earn a 75% profit from the jewelry if they so choose.
“I can provide customers with exceptional deals that empower them to not only enjoy beautiful pieces, but also to invest in their own collections or resell for a substantial profit,” Steere said.
A’s Collection will continue to appear at local events, each time with a refreshed inventory that’s sure to catch the eyes of passersby. “I’m dedicated to making high-end jewelry accessible to everyone,” Steere said.
