Mountain Grove Lions Club makes donations
The Mountain Grove Lions Club presenting the OMTC with a check for $1,000. The Lions presenting the check included Robert MacLeod. Web Howerton, Ray Richey, Brenda Clark, Carmen McCarty, Ken Woodruff, Kay Woodruff and Dee Lewis. OMTC was represented by Director Lisa Watson and Counselor Kali Jones.

I have not submitted a Lions Club article for a couple of months. My brother-in-law died on Sep. 20 and seven weeks later my sister died. My church and Lions Club families and dear friends have helped me through this difficult time.
The Lions Club hosted the Lions Zone 4 district meeting on Nov..25. Seymour, Ava and Mountain Grove Clubs were represented with 14 people in attendance.
The Club presented the Ozark Technical Center with a check for $1,000 to help students purchase items they need to start a new job when they graduate.
Thank you to Dean Tarzia for helping the Lions Club have a successful Fish Fry fundraiser for OTC.
The Lions Club donated $200 for the Shop With A Hero fundraiser. The local police, firemen, EMT’s and other heroes enjoy shopping with the children for Christmas gifts. It is wonderful to live in a small town where people take care of each other. Very proud of the Lions Club for their donation.
The Club will be meeting the second Thursday of each month until spring. The Club meets at The. Grove Restaurant at 12 noon.
