Elliott arrested in Douglas County and gets indictment

Larry Elliott, 49, of Norwood, was arrested by Sgt. Aaron Box, of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, on March 5 on a Douglas County warrant for failure to appear for driving without a license and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
While Elliott was in custody, a grand jury indictment was issued for Elliott for burglary in the first degree, stealing over $25,000 along with unlawful possession of a firearm.
This indictment was a result of an investigation conducted by Sgt. Box into a large-scale theft ring.
