Mansfield man arrested with help of Special Operations Group

Mansfield man has been arrested after the Wright County Special Operations Group executed a narcotics search warrant on Tuesday, March 19 in Mansfield.
According to a Wright County Sheriff’s Office report, Cevin Briley, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance.
Briley is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
Briley is a prior and persistent felony drug offender.
This case was investigated by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and by the Mansfield Police Department.
Wright County Sheriff Sonny Byerley would like to express his sincere gratitude to all agencies involved.
“The collaborative efforts demonstrated in this operation are a testament to the power of teamwork,” he said in a report.
“Working together is the only way to effectively remove these dangerous drugs from the streets of our County and safeguard our communities. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to keeping our neighborhoods safe.”
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
