Mountain Grove man arrested

Back on Dec. 5, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office noted that it charged David Ruiz, of Mountain Grove, with arson in the second degree for knowing burning and burglary in the second degree involving a structure fire that took place on Dec. 1, south of Mountain Grove.
Ruiz is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
According to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office report, the case was investigated by Detective Sgt Akers and Detective Ballard. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
