Multiple arrests near county line
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office recently made three arrests near the Wright County line.
On Jan. 29, a search warrant was served on a residence in northern Douglas County on Old Highway 5, this according to a Douglas County Sheriff’s report.
Floyd M Lansdown, Meichkala Rawlings and Jessie Lansdown were arrested at the time the search warrant was served.
A warrant was issued for Floyd M, Lansdown, 64, of Mansfield, for abuse or neglect of a child, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance, and 10 counts of unlawful possession of a weapon while in possession of a controlled substance.
The bond was set at $5,000 cash only.
A warrant was issued for Meichkala L. Rawlings, 30, of Mansfield, for abuse or neglect of a child, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance, and 10 counts of unlawful possession of a weapon while in possession of a controlled substance. The bond was set at $5,000 cash only.
A warrant was issued for Jessie Lansdown, 36, of Mansfield, for abuse or neglect of a child, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance, and 10 counts of unlawful possession of a weapon while in possession of a controlled substance.
The bond was set at $5,000 cash only.
Additional charges are pending for possessing a stolen firearm after it was discovered one of the firearms seized was stolen out of Christian County.
