Hartville’s Parsons earns medal at School of the Ozarks

Hartville’s Alex Parsons with his School of the Ozarks medal from the race held on Oct. 4.

The Hartville Eagles’ cross country team competed in the Texidor Challenge held at the School of the Ozarks on Oct. 4.
The boys finished fourth in the team standings with 81 points, just three points back of Gainesville.
Alex Parsons led his squad by winning a medal with a seventh place time of 19:44.94.
Jarren Simmons was 11th place overall with a time of 20:16.71 while Wyatt Francis came in 17th (21:52.27).
Other runners included Caleb Dugger (22:35.47), Broc Roden (23:04.39), Lane Hughes (23:05.37) and Gustin Dennis (24:19.46). No Lady Eagles competed in the race.
