Hartville golf earns medals in matches
Hartville’s Jace Hughes and Jesse Hughes with their medals from last week’s Mansfield Invitational played at Randel-Hinkle Golf Course in Mountain Grove.
The Hartville Eagles’ golf team combined to win three medals and earn a pair of top-six finishes at recent invitationals.
At the Mansfield Invitational held at Randel-Hinkle Golf Course in Mountain Grove, the Eagles finished fourth with a 373.
Jace Hughes won a fourth place medal as an individual with a 77 while Jesse Hughes earned a 12th place medal with an 89.
Other scores included Jesse Vestal (104), Hunter Potter (103) and Brent Mount (106).
In the recent New Heights Christian Academy Invitational, the Eagles were sixth place with a combined 261.
Jace Hughes shot an 80 to earn a seventh place medal. Other top scores came from Jesse Hughes (85), Vestal (96), Mount (100) and Trenton Boyd (114).
