Hartville Lady Eagles with four wins in a row

The Hartville Lady Eagles are entering districts on a four game winning streak after adding three wins a week ago.
Their biggest win of the stretch was when Hartville held on late for a 38-37 win over Summit Conference foe Fordland.
It was a low scoring first quarter as both teams combined to score a total of seven points.
Kinley Cryer paced Hartville with six of her team’s 13 in the second quarter as Hartville led 18-14 at halftime..
Cryer added another five points in the third to give her squad a six-point edge to start the fourth.
Fordland ended the game on a 15-10 run, but Hartville was able to hold on for the one-point win.
Maddie Brown and Cryer both scored a team-high 15 points; Gensen Culver had five; Sarah Palmer two; and Haddie Ward one point.
Two days earlier, the Lady Eagles traveled to Conway and left with a dominating 56-22 victory.
Hartville shut Conway out in the opening quarter, 12-0, as five different players scored.
Cryer hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 10 of the Lady Eagles 24 points in the second quarter for a 36-4 halftime edge.
Three different players scored at least five points in a 16-point third as the Lady Eagles pulled away for good.
Cryer sored a team-high 20 points; Brown had 11; Culver and Palmer both had eight; Ward five; and Brielle Kline scored two points.
Hartville also defeated Exeter, 60-41. (No information was provided by press time for that contest.)
The Hartville Lady Eagles are now 17-8 on the season.
