Hartville swimmer earns some medals

As Hartville’s lone swimmer on the Marshfield Ladybluejays swim team, Kennedy Raney has made some early season impact in the pool while representing the Lady Eagles.
At an event in Springfield in December, Raney was a part of two relay squads that had solid races.
She joined Marshfield teammates Molly Henry, Keely Devoto and Emery Leighty to take fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay and fifth in the 200-yard medley relay.
Individually, she also placed fifth in both the 100-yard backstroke and fifth in the 200 individual medley.
In the Lady Zizzer Invitational in West Plains, Raney’s relay team medaled with a third place finish in the 200-meter freestyle relay. They were also fourth in the 200-meter medley relay.
Individually, Raney was seventh in the 200-meter IM.
