Lady Eagles now 11-2 overall

The non-district spring season is nearing an end for the Hartville Lady Eagles’ softball team, but they are leaving their mark this year.
Hartville outscored two more teams, 34-7, last week to move their record to 11-2 overall.
In 10 of their wins this season, the Lady Eagles have scored 11 or more runs.
One big win was a 15-0 victory over Conway as a nine-run first inning was too much for the Lady Bears to overcome.
Brielle Kline had three RBIs and two runs scored; Sarah Palmer added two RBIs and one run scored; Dani Flachsmann had one RBI and scored twice; Peyton Dudley plated one RBI and scored three times; Gensen Culver and Maddie Brown had one RBI and one run scored; while Haddie Ward and McKenzi Stigall scored twice;
On the mound, Saige Petty tossed four shutout innings and gave up one hit with two strikeouts.
Before the win, the Lady Eagles had an eight-run first and a six-run fourth to beat Lighthouse Christian, 19-7.
Stigall had a triple, three hits, three RBIs and three runs scored.
Kline, Palmer and Brown added three RBIs and two runs scored; Flachsmann had two RBIs and one run scored; Ward had one RBI and scored three times; and Dudley had one RBI and scored twice.
Petty tossed five innings and gave up five earned runs on five innings with three strikeouts and one walk.
