Raney finishes up swimming season with Marshfield team

Hartville’s Kennedy Raney just finished up her season as part of the Marshfield Lady Bluejays swimming and diving team and she enjoyed some success down the stretch.
At the Ozark Conference meet, Raney medaled by placing second in the 200-yard individual medley and third in the 100-yard backstroke.
She then teamed up with Kelly Devoto, Emery Leighty and Molly Henry to place fourth with a new personal record in the 400-yard freestyle relay. They also set a new PR with a fifth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
In the Carthage Invitational, Raney earned a medal after placing third in both the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard backstroke.
The 400-yard freestyle relay set a new PR with a second place finish. The 200-yard freestyle set a PR with a state consideration finish of third place.
As for the SWMO meet, Raney set PRs taking ninth in the 200-yard individual medley and in the 100-yard backstroke.
The 400-yard freestyle relay was a 11th, but set a PR while the 200-yard freestyle relay was 15th.
In the Last Chance meet, Raney set a PR in both the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard backstroke.
Unfortunately, she was unable to qualify for this year’s state championships.
