Mansfield Lady Lions beat Plato by 22 points

The Mansfield Lady Lions’ defense held Plato nine points or less in all four quarters of a dominating 42-20 victory last week.
Mansfield trailed by two points in the first quarter before going on a 10-1 run as both Addie Jones and Patience Parsons scored three points.
The Lady Lions pushed their lead to 10 in the third quarter as Chloe Napier made three free throws and CheyAnn Price made a 3-pointer.
Mansfield pulled way for good in the final frame with a 16-4 run with the help of Jones’ eight points.
Jones scored a team-high 13 points; Napier nine; Kayley Kingery and Parsons had six; Chloe Holyoak had five; and Price scored three points.
Mansfield ended their regular season schedule with a 47-30 loss to Forsyth.
The Lady Lions’ offense scored eight points or less in all four quarters of play.
Jones sored nine of her team’s 15 total points in the first half
Kingery scored five points in the fourth quarter, but the Lady Lions’ rally fell short.
Jones scored a team-high 15 points; Kingery added seven; Holyoak and Price both had three points; and Napier had two points.
