Mansfield Lady Lions drop three straight games
Before competing in this past week’s Gainesville Tournament that was taking place through press time, the Mansfield Lady Lions’ basketball team lost three straight games. They dropped a Summit Conference battle with Gainesville, 54-27, after behind held to 12 points or less in all four quarters. Kayley Kingery and Addie Jones both scored seven points in the loss; Chloe Napier had four points; CheyAnn Price had three points; while Chloe Holyoak, Kia Medlin and Patience Parsons each had two points.
In another loss, Spokane rode a 21-point fourth quarter to pick up a 66-43 win over the Lady Lions. Kingery finished the game with 18 points; Jones had 13; both Napier and Price had five points; while Holyoak had two points. (Mansfield also fell to Ava, 50-38.
