Mansfield lions fall in first round of summit tourney

The Mansfield Lions’ baseball team finished their fall season with a .500 record after falling recently in the first round of the Summit Conference Tournament.
Against Conway, the Lions scored one run in the top of the sixth inning, but they were unable to complete the comeback in a 4-2 loss to the Bears.
John Roberts had a solid game with two hits and two RBIs while both Blake Henry and Aiden Garrison scored one run.
On the mound, Brayden Stuart tossed five and two-thirds innings and allowed just one earned run on three hits with seven strikeouts and one walk. Fisher Croney tossed a third of an inning and gave up two earned runs on two hits with one strikeout and three walks.
