Lady Panthers win five set thriller over Licking

Mountain Grove volleyball players made saves and struck the ball hard in the match-up with Licking.
The Mountain Grove Lady Panthers’ volleyball team won their home opener last week in a five set thriller with the Licking Lady Wildcats, 3-2.
Mountain Grove jumped out to a two set lead winning 25-22 and 25-13.
They then lost a pair of 25-21 sets before holding on late to win the fifth set, 16-14.
Two days later, the Lady Panthers traveled to Hollister and dropped all three sets.
They fell 25-20 in the first set, 25-17 in set two and 25-23 in the third.
