Mountain Grove CC does well at SCAs
Mountain Grove runners Abigail Sons, Makynli Blackwell and Keena Roth had a solid SCA Conference race.
The Mountain Grove boys and girls cross country program had a solid race in this year’s South Central Association (SCA) Conference championship race held at Willow Springs.
The Lady Panthers were led by three runners who earned Top-10 finishes. Keena Roth was second place overall with a time of 22:50.06.
Abigail Sons was sixth with a time of 24:16.72 and Makynli Blackwell was ninth with a time of 24:37.52 while Megan Adams finished 19th (27:36.31).
Leading the way for the Panthers was Hunter Bartlett, who placed sixth with a time of 18:56.50.
Trace Hadley was 10th (19:42.81) and Max Guilliams was 11th (19:45.59) to finish out the list of Top-15 runners.
Trigg DeVries (23:25.59) and Mark Shaner (24:31.22) also competed.
As a team, the boys finished third with 75 points.
