Mountain Grove, Hartville CC in Plato

Both the Mountain Grove and Hartville cross country programs competed in the annual Plato Eagle Invitational and enjoyed some success.
Mountain Grove
Keena Roth led the Lady Panthers with her eighth place finish in the field of 51 runners. Her time was 23:28.59.
Mackynli Blackwell came in 21st with a time of 25:15.25. Other runners were Abigail Sons (26:44.10) and Megan Adams (27:43.06).
The Panthers were ninth in the team standings with 210 team points.
They were led by Hunter Bartlett’s 16th place time of 19:18.50 in a field of 104 runners.
Trace Hadley came in 24th place with a time of 20:01.05.
Other runners included Max Guilliams (20:55.63), Trigg DeVries (23:39.73) and Mark Shaner (24:47.68).
Hartville
Only the Hartville boys squad competed in Plato as they finished seventh overall in the team standings with 186 total points.
Leading the way for Hartville was Jarren Simmons, who finished 22nd with a time of 19:58.41.
Alex Parsons was in the Top-30 with his time of 20:16.37.
Other Hartville Eagles’ runners included Wyatt Francis (21:37.38), Broc Roden (22:03.56), Caleb Dugger (22:26.90), Lane Hughes (22:46.10) and runner Gustin Dennis (23:27.28).
