Panthers’ tennis beats Licking

Mountain Grove’s tennis team picked up their first duel match win of the season last week when they hosted Licking and picked up a 6-3 victory.
In singles action, No. 2 player JP Dickey cruised to an 8-3 win.
Micah Barbe won his No. 3 singles match in the thriller, 9-7, while Zoe Harrington won the No. 4 singles battle, 8-5.
Megan Adams cruised to an 8-1 win in No. 6 singles.
Trygg DeVries fell in the No. 1 singles match-up, 8-4, and Canyon Jarrett fell in No. 5 singles to Wildcats’ player, 8-6.
As for doubles, DeVries and Dickey won their No. 1 battle, 8-1.
Jarrett and Adams teams up for an 8-4 win in No. 3 doubles.
Barbe and Harrington fell in a thriller, 9-7.
