Panthers cruise past Licking Wildcats
Mountain Grove’s Kale Gardner with one of his three dunks in the win over Licking
It was a dominating performance for the Mountain Grove Panthers last week when they hosted Licking and cruised to a 68-57 victory. The Wildcats scored several late points to make the game closer than it was.
Mountain Grove was up four before their 21-8 run in the second quarter with the help of Kale Gardner’s nine points.
Entering the third with a 17-point lead, Brody Emery scored seven points to help push the lead to 24.
Kale Gardner would lead the Panthers with 22 points and three dunks.
Emery added 20; Aden Estep had 11; Eli Golden scored four points; Brady Anderson had three points; Brady Harris, Bret Gardner and Dalton Shannon had two points; while Bryson Curtiss and Kayne Meyer each scored one point for the Panthers in the win over the Wildcats.
