Panthers dominate All-South Central Association (SCA) Conference honors

The Mountain Grove Panthers’ football team was well represented as the South Central Association (SCA) Conference announced its honors for the 2025 season.
The Panthers’ head coach Dan Swofford was named the Coach of the Year, Aden Estep was named Back of the Year while Malaki Williams was named Lineman of the Year.
Estep was a first-team, All-SCA selection at quarterback while Eli Golden earned first-team honors at running back.
At wide receiver, Kale Gardner earned second-team, All-SCA honors and Bret Gardner did the same as a tight end.
As for the offensive line, both Peyton Metty and Williams earned first-team, All-SCA honors and Dameon Martin was a second-team selection.
Sam Smith and Carson Gibson were second-team choices on the line.
As for placekicking, Martin was a second-team selection.
On the defensive line, Slade Rodgers was chosen for the first team and Jacob Crosco was named to the second team.
Ethan Haacke earned honorable mention honors.
At the linebacker position, Braydon Curtiss was a first-team choice and Aydon Barbe was a second team selection.
Kayden Murphy was a first team choice at the defensive back position and Dalton Shannon was an honorable mention choice.
