Panthers lose heartbreaker to Strafford at home

Before this past weekend’s Blue and Gold Tournament that ended just after press time, the Mountain Grove Panthers’ basketball team lost a heartbreaker to Strafford, 53-50.
They trailed throughout and could not get over the hump by the sound of the final buzzer.
Kale Gardner scored 15 of hits team’s 27 points in the first half and finished with 28 points. Brady Anderson and Brody Emery both scored four points; Bret Gardner, Brody Harris and Eli Golden each scored two points; while Carson Gibson had one point.
