Several Panthers earn All-SCA honors

Several Mountain Grove boys and girls basketball players recently earned All-South Central Association (SCA) Conference honors for their efforts during the 2024-2025 season.
The co-SCA champion Panthers had their coach, Nick Openshaw, named the SCA Coach of the Year.
Sophomore Kale Gardner was a first-team, All-SCA selection.
Senior Sam Peterson earned second-team honors while sophomore Brody Emery was an honorable mention selection.
As for the girls, the Lady Panthers’ Raylee Stenzel, a senior, was a first-team, All-SCA selection.
Junior Stella Benson and senior Landry Golden both earned second-team honors.
Sophomore Sadie Schober earned honorable mention honors for a Lady Panthers team that finished 21-5.
