Six Mountain Grove CC runners compete at state
Mountain Grove cross country runners enjoy their time together at the Class 3 State Championships.
Six Mountain Grove cross country runners ended their season on the brightest stage as they competed in the Class 3 State Championships held Nov. 8 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course located in Columbia.
In a field featuring 164 total runners, the Panthers had three cross country runners earn a spot in the Top-100.
Skyler Oliphant had the best finish on the day for the boys’ squad by crossing the finish line in 52nd place wit ha time of 17:32.60.
Max Guilliams was 77th (17:49.10) and Trece White was 94th (18:07.30).
Three Mountain Grove Lady Panthers’ runners took part in the state event in a field of 164 total runners.
Keena Roth was 86th place overall with a time of 22:12.50. Makynli Blackwell was 99th (22:26.70) and Nyelli Soto was 120th (23:06.70).
