Wright County Farm Bureau gets President’s Award

Several locals represented Wright County at the state annual Farm Bureau meeting as they received the President’s Award. Wright County Farm Bureau was recognized with the President’s Award at the state annual meeting at the Lake of the Ozarks.
The award recognizes the top Missouri county in Farm Bureau activities. WCFB’s mission is “working to improve the quality of life for farmers and all members of our county”.
Through a well-rounded program of activities that include marketing and commodities, young farmers and ranchers, promotions and education, membership and public policy, the county organization works year-round to serve members and advocate for agriculture. Wright County also won first for special project and top Gold Star county in their county size category. Charlie Brooks was the Young Farmer and Rancher winner of the Excellence in Agriculture award. Charlie’s win allowed him to compete in the American Farm Bureau contest in Anaheim, Calif. in January.

2026 MO Farm Bureau Ambassador contest.
