Henry earns Willow Springs medal, golfers unable to get past districts

Mountain Grove golfer Mason Henry was his team’s lone medalist from last week’s Willow Springs Invitational.
Henry shot an 81 to place eight in the event.
Brady Anderson shot an 85; both Brady Harris and Leedy Curtis shot an 86; while Aidan Kumpula shot a 116.
The Panthers season came to an end on May 7 when they were eighth place in the Class 3, District 3 Tournament played at Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course in Nevada.
Mountain Grove shot a combined 374, with Harris leading the team as he had a 27th place score of 89.
Curtis shot a 90, Henry added a 96, Anderson shot a 99 and Kumpula shot a 138.
No Panthers’ golfers qualified this year for the Class 3 state championships.
