Dr. Gerla has contract extended until 2029

The Mountain Grove R-III Board of Education renewed extended the contract of Superintendent Dr. Aaron Gerla during its Jan. 21 meeting.
The Board approved a measure to extend his contract for three years until June 30, 2029.
In other news, surplus was approved for the 2003 International bus and a donation to the local fire department.
Courtney Construction was approved for a house demolition and the nonresident tuition for 2026-27 was set for $7,500 annually.
A resignation was accepted for elementary teacher Aleah Clark.
