Lady Pirates crush 11-win Twin Rivers

The Norwood Lady Panthers traveled to Van Buren last week for a battle with a 11-4 Twin Rivers squad that has been making some noise this season in Class 3.
Fortunately, the Lady Pirates made 11, 3-pointers as they left with a dominating 64-34 victory.
Norwood made four, 3-pointers in the opening frame as Addy Gray made two of them sand scored seven points.
Kalie Chadwell scored seven points in a 14-6 run before halftime to go into the break up 15 points.
In the fourth quarter, Chadwell scored nine points while both Lydia Harden and Gray added 3-pointers in a 22-point final frame.
Chadwell made three, 3-pointers and scored 23 points; Gray added five, 3-pointers for 16 points; Gentry Davault had 13; Jayden Chambers added seven; Harden had three; and Jaycee Hall scored two points. (Norwood also moved to 2-0 in the Summit Conference with a 50-22 win over Fordland. No information submitted for that game by press time.)
