Lady Pirates win Summit Conference title

The Norwood Lady Pirates officially became the Summit Conference champions last week after their 15-2 win over Sparta in a dominating victory.
Norwood scored five runs in the first and six in the second to help pull away from the Lady Trojans in a game featuring their 14 hits.
Gentry Davault tallied three hits, three RBIs and two runs scored; Addison Smith had two hits and three runs scored; Jaycee Hall had two RBIs and two runs scored; both Jamison Williams and Mayci Calhoun had two RBIs; Jayden Chambers added one RBI and scored three times; Maddie Campbell had one RBI and scored twice; and Addy Gray scored two runs. Campbell tossed five innings and gave up two earned runs on 12 strikeouts with six hits.
