Norwood beats two Summit teams by a 25-0 margin

The Norwood Lady Pirates’ softball team shutout a pair of Summit Conference teams, 25-0, to push their record to 6-2 on what is their spring practice season.
Norwood scored six runs in the first and eight in the third to pull away for a 15-0 crushing of the Conway Lady Bears.
Jayden Chambers had three RBIs and scored two runs; Maddie Campbell had two RBIs and scored twice; Addison Smith added two RBIs and one run scored; Reagan Bennett had one RBI and scored two times; Mayci Calhoun and Addy Gray had one RBI and one run scored; Jaycee Hall scored three times; and Jamison Williams scored twice.
Campbell tossed three scoreless, no-hit innings and struck out seven.
Norwood also picked up a 10-0 win over Seymour. (No statistics were made available by press time.
