Norwood crushes Houston by 49 points
The Norwood Pirates picked up their 12th win of the season last week after cruising Houston at home, 64-15.
Norwood opened the game on a 17-4 run as Andrew Bradshaw hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight of his team points.
Carder Kelly took over the game before halftime with three, 3-pointers and 16 of the Pirates’ 22 points in the second quarter.
Norwood’s defense then held the Tigers to just two points in the entire second half.
Kelly had 21 points to lead the Pirates in the big win.
Remington Hill and Bradshaw had nine points; Brady Vaughan scored eight; Laken Coatney had five; while Carson Vaughan, Hunner Finch and Pierce Lawson each scored four points.
