Pirates crush Platon, 14-2

Norwood’s baseball team traveled to Plato last week and left with a 14-2 win.  Payton McCune had five RBIs; Pierce Lawson had three hits and four RBIs; and Carson Vaughan had two RBIs and scored three times.  Black tossed three and two-thirds innings and gave up no earned runs on two hits with four strikeouts and one walk. Lawson had three and a third hitless innings and gave up one earned run with seven strikeouts and eight walks.
