Jerry Neal Dickison

Jerry Neal Dickison, 83, of Perryville, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson. He was born Aug. 8, 1942 in Dora to William Thomas and Lela Inez (Holt) Dickison. He and Barbara Dickison were married Jan. 26, 1963, in Cabool. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2025. Jerry worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Union. He was of the Southern Baptist faith.Jerry loved to spend time with his grandchildren and enjoyed doing mechanical work on old cars.
Survivors include son, Jay (Kim) Dickison, of Perryville; sister, Patricia Elliot, of Springfield; five grandchildren, Tom Dickison, Amanda Huddleston, Candice Young, Cindy  Cragun and Jaylene Dickison; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Jerry Dickison; nephew, David Elliot; and infant brother, Gerald Ivan Dickison. Burial will be at Dickison Family Cemetery in Perry County.
