Randle Scheets

Randle Scheets

Randle Scheets, the son of Benny and Geneva (Reed) Scheets, was born Dec. 3, 1964, at Cabool, and went home to meet Jesus from Texas County Memorial Hospital on April 17, 2026. Randy was united in marriage to Vonda Coble on Oct 6, 1983. To this union two children were born: Cody Randle Scheets and Aaron Lee Scheets. He loved his family and was a wonderful husband and father. Randy was a child of God first. He loved the Lord with passion. He served the Lord by providing for his family through different vocations: Pastor, carpenter, farmer, and truck driver, usually at the same time. Randy took pride in a job well done. He could fix anything. If it needed to be done, he would figure out what the problem was, along with the solution to make it happen. Randy had endurance. He loved blessing people, whether he knew them or not. Randy enjoyed sharing the outdoors with his family, hiking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, having snowball fights and sledding. He was always up for an adventure. Randy felt a deep love for people. He never met a stranger. He shared, worked, ministered, and witnessed whenever he could. He loved serving the Heartland Cowboys for Christ, where he made many wonderful lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Randle and Piney (Sirdoreus) Scheets, and Elmer Reed and Inda (Freeman-Reed) Dobson; aunts, Ginger Kennedy and Delma Preissle; uncles, Dallas Reed, J.W. Scheets, Billy Scheets and Virgil Scheets; and Crystal Lynn Scheets (unborn child).
