Ferguson receives scholarship

Jayla Ferguson, a 2025 graduate of Hartville High School, has received the Benny Hensley Scholarship, administered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
Ferguson, the daughter of Whitney Ivie and Spencer Ferguson, is attending Drury University this fall, where she is studying accounting, marketing and leadership.
“I am so grateful for this scholarship that will help me obtain my education at Drury University,” Ferguson said. “Thank you to the donors for providing this opportunity.”
The Benny Hensley Scholarship Fund was established by the Hartville School Foundation to benefit graduating seniors of Hartville High.
The CFO and its regional affiliate foundations — including the Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation — hold more than 450 scholarship funds, established by generous donors to help students from across central and southern Missouri achieve their goals of higher education. The application period for the 2026–27 school year will open Jan. 1, 2026, and run through mid-March. For more information, visit cfozarks.org/scholarships.
