Francis takes over as Manes superintendent

With a new school year about to start in August, the Manes R-V School District will be under the direction of a new superintendent.
Sabrina Francis was hired for the superintendent position, taking over for Mary Holder, who retired from the district.
Francis brings to Manes R-V 18 years of education experience with 14 years in the classroom and four in an administrative role.
She has a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction from Evangel University. Francis earned her Master of Education in Administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri State University.
Her family, who has resided in Manes for three years, includes her husband of 18 years, Brian Francis, and their two boys, Wyatt, 17, and Levi, 15. Her husband works at the Hartville R-II School District and her two boys also attend school in Hartville.
“I am passionate about providing quality instruction, promoting strong relationships and supporting teachers,” Sabrina Francis said. “My family and I love this small community and the people who live here.”
