Local school districts receive their APRs

Local school districts recently received their Annual Performance Report (APR) for the 2024-25 school year.
Hartville (95.1%)
The Hartville R-II School District received a 95.1%overall, moving up from 88.7% last year.
Hartville earned the highest grade for districts in Wright County and their score also placed the district in the top tier of the state.
“We are super proud of the work put in from our students and staff,” said Hartville Superintendent Adam Cook. “We took another big step forward and topped the conference with a 95.1% APR.”
Mansfield (94.8%)
The Mansfield R-IV School District is once again near the top with a 94.8% overall score.
That is up from 91% last year.
In the three year composite APR score, Mansfield Superintendent Dr. Clint Hall said the district is ranked No. 6 in the state and No. 13 in single year APR.
“Congratulations to our students, staff and community on such a remarkable achievement,” said Superintendent Dr. Clint Hall.
Skyline R-II (89.0%)
The Skyline R-II School District has remained unchanged for its APR with an 89%.
“Overall, very pleased once again with the APR for Skyline School,” said Skyline R-II Superintendent Donnie Luna. “We scored at 89% for the 24-25 School Year. The MAP scores once again showed growth and the APR reflects that. We’re looking to build on last year’s numbers and improve moving forward.”
Manes (87.7%)
Manes R-V’s district showed their total going down from 95% to 87.7% for this year’s APR, though still a pretty strong score.
“We are very proud of our APR scores,” said Manes Superintendent Mary Holder. “We continue to focus on improving instruction for all our students. Our goal is for each student to improve and show growth in their knowledge. We encourage our students to always give 100% each day. We have put together an outstand -ing group of teachers and support staff who work together to give our students the best possible education we can provide them. Our Board of Education supports our goals in every respect from providing classroom resources, protecting the health and safety of our students, and giving our students every opportunity for success.”

Norwood (78.6%)
The Norwood R-I School District went from 88.8% last year down to 78.6% this year in the APR scores.
Norwood Superintendent Christy Chadwell said rates for graduation, graduation follow-up and attendance continue to be high. Performance scoring for ELA and Math have increased annually since 2022.
“I am extremely proud of the hard work and effort that our students, parents, staff and teachers invested last year and we will continue to work on student growth as our students prepare for testing in the spring of 2026,” Superintendent Chadwell said. “We celebrate the success of the scores that our students achieved last year and will continue to work hard and find the solutions to help our students be successful.”
Mountain Grove (78.2%)
Mountain Grove has watched their APR score drop from 84.9% down to 78.2%.
“The Mountain Grove School District strives to provide the best well rounded education possible for all of our students,” said Mountain Grove Superintendent Dr. Aaron Gerla. “Our APR score is one snapshot in this process that we look at very closely to see where we can continue to improve each year. We thank all of the people including parents, faculty and staff who work with our students to give our students the best chance for success at college, career and life when they leave our doors as a proud Mountain Grove graduate.”
