Manes R-V School students to be published

Manes R-V students being published are Deaton Nagy, Jaxon Ferrebee, Alexis Wantland and Elena Taylor.
Several students in fifth-eighth grade writing class with Mrs. Dianna Baker recently were selected to have their short stories published.
All students from fifth-eighth grades completed a writing assignment contest through Young Writers of America and several students from Manes Elementary School were selected to have their writings published.
Manes School is very proud of these young writers and continue to encourage each and every student to be successful!
The winners selected from Manes R-V School receiving the Young Writers Creativity Award for 2026 were Alexis Wantland (8), Jaxon Ferrebee (7), Deaton Nagy (5) and Elena Taylor (5).
