Mansfield R-IV holds June meeting

The Mansfield R-IV School District held their regular Board meeting on Monday, June 10.
Administrators present were Dr. Clint Hall, Gina Adams, Jena Coberly, Joe Garrison and Tracy Felker. Visitors present were Candice White, Tim Johnson and Melissa Schmidt.
Dr. Hall provided the financial report for the district. Administrator reports for the month were provided by Gina Adams, Tracy Felker, Jena Coberly and Joe Garrison. Dr. Hall provided a superintendent’s report.
The 2023-24 Health Services report was approved.
Continuing in New Business, MSBA policies regarding random drug testing of high school students in extracurricular activities were discussed. No action was taken.
Staff, student and elementary student handbooks for 2024-25 were approved.
The 2023-24 budget was amended after all payroll and June bills were finalized. Meanwhile, the 2024-25 budget was approved as presented.
The Board of Education later approved a measure to hire Joanie Shropshire as a paraprofessional.
The meeting began at 5:30 p.m. and concluded at 7:15 p.m.
